“Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself
that you have built against it.”

- Rumi

Spiritual Counselling is a form of talking therapy where we create a sacred space for self-exploration, shadow work and self-directed healing. Some sessions it’s a gentle place of rest, some sessions it’s a wild ride of truth-bombs and exciting revelations - other days it’s a heart-wincing confessional or sacred space of howling release. All is welcome.

As a Spiritual Counsellor, my only job is to listen deeply and compassionately without judgement. Spiritual Counselling is not about “fixing” you, but about allowing you to be truly seen and heard, to be fully witnessed in the mess and majesty that is life. To be supported as you discover and unfurl new parts of yourself in a safe and encouraging environment. To gently examine the old stories and beliefs that may no longer serve you.

I work with clients both online and in person. Common themes and my personal areas of interest are: sexual identity, grief + bereavement, birth trauma, shame + vulnerability, living whilst actively dying, body dysmorphia & disordered eating, desire, creativity, relationships.

To ensure the highest quality of spiritual care and safety for my clients, I regularly engage in professional supervision, where I collaborate with a qualified supervisor to review and enhance my counselling practice.

Testimonials

“My sessions with Amy were a beacon in my week. A refuge.
Our conversations unlocked parts of me that I never thought I’d have the courage to open. But it all felt possible with Amy’s loving presence and grounded holding.”

- MM, London

"What I most love about Amy is the way she reflects from her embodied intuition, weaving questions that feel non-invasive, yet somehow invite deep inquiry. I also appreciate her compassion, her empathy, and her mirroring of my journey with hers; I have never heard the sentence “I hear you” spoken with such sincerity and tenderness. Our sessions have been a gift to treasure, from the tender silence to the joyous encouragement."
- RB, Bristol

‘When we look into our own hearts and begin to discover what is confused and what is brilliant, what is bitter and what is sweet, it isn’t just ourselves that we’re discovering. We’re discovering the universe.’
- Pema Chodron
